Delivery Policy
1. Muse Dessert Cafe proudly offers shipping services. Be assured we are doing everything in our power to get your order to you as soon as possible. Please consider any holidays that might impact delivery times. Muse Dessert Cafe also offers same day dispatch. 2. All orders for our products are processed and shipped out within 2 hours from the order placement for items available. For handcrafted cakes, we require a minimum of 24 hours for preparation. Customized cakes need between 36 to 48 hours to ensure they meet your specifications. If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few hours. If there will be a significant delay in the shipment of your order, we will contact you via the contact number you have provided. 3. WRONG ADDRESS DISCLAIMER It is the responsibility of the customers to make sure that the shipping address entered is correct. We do our best to speed up processing and shipping time, so there is always a small window to correct an incorrect shipping address. Please contact us immediately if you believe you have provided an incorrect shipping address. 4. UNDELIVERABLE ORDERS Orders that are returned to us as undeliverable because of incorrect shipping information are subject to a restocking fee to be determined by us. 5. LOST/STOLEN PACKAGES Muse Dessert Cafe is not responsible for lost or stolen packages. If your tracking information states that your package was delivered to your address and you have not received it, please report to the local authorities. 6. RETURN REQUEST TIMEMuse Dessert Cafe allows you to return its item (s) within a period of 1 hour after delivery. Kindly be advised that the item (s) should be returned unused. 7. Return Policy
Change Requests We cannot guarantee we will be able to accommodate change requests after the order is placed. All change requests must be submitted via email at least 72 hours in advance. No changes are possible within 72 hours of the delivery or pickup date. Change requests will be reviewed and responded to during admin hours which are currently Tuesday – Sunday, 8am – 2pm. Requests submitted after admin hours will not be reviewed until the following business day. Cancellation Requests Cancellation requests received more than 72 hours in advance of the delivery or pickup date may be accommodated. Orders cannot be cancelled within 72 days of the delivery or pick up date. Requests for cancellation must be received via email. We check email during admin hours which are currently Tuesday – Sunday, 8am – 2pm. Refund Requests Upon pickup, we present the cake for inspection of the color, design and writing. If you have someone else pick up your cake it is their responsibility to review the cake for approval. We do all that we can to make sure that your order is decorated to the specification on your order. Upon pick-up of your cake, adjustments can be made for an additional charge if it was not stated on your original order. If for some reason something is not decorated correctly as stated on your order, we will make necessary changes right away. Once the cake has been accepted and removed from the premises, refund requests for color, design or writing will not be accepted. Full refunds requested due to flavor or texture after the cake has been accepted and picked up will not be honored. You may qualify for a percentage of a store credit if the product is brought back and the quality of the cake flavor or texture is determined to not meet our standards. Cakes must be brought back to us within a timely manner, preferably with 24 hours of pick up – please email us promptly to let us know of the issue. Please understand that we cannot issue refunds for cakes that have already been completely eaten. Store credit percents are based on how quickly the cake is returned, how much has been consumed, and what we determine the quality to be. Store credits of any kind will not be issued to customers who do not contact us within 48 hours.
