I recently visited Brisket and Bistro (Dhanmondi) and had a mixed but overall pleasant experience.
The highlight of my visit was definitely the Swedish Meatballs.. they were absolutely delicious. The flavor was rich, creamy, and comforting, with the perfect balance of seasoning and sauce. Honestly, if you’re visiting this place specifically for the Swedish meatballs, it’s a 5-star experience on its own. They truly stand out and feel worth every bite.
However, the brisket was a bit underwhelming. The taste was average - not bad, but nothing special.. and the bigger issue was that it got cold far too quickly. I would strongly suggest customers ask the staff to serve it hotter or reheat it properly before bringing it to the table, as it affects the overall enjoyment.
In my opinion, if brisket is what you’re craving, there are other places within the same price range that do it better. But for the Swedish meatballs and the cozy bistro vibe, it’s still worth a visit.
⭐ Overall rating: 4 stars
(5 stars for Swedish meatballs, but brisket could improve.)
The atmosphere is okay-ish. Would not suggest if you are visiting this place in search of a comforting meal at a peak hour as it can get noisy.
